At WOFSHEAMS, we are committed to creating a positive impact on communities and promoting social well-being. Through our Community Development Projects, we focus on empowering women by providing training and support, fostering collaboration, and uplifting lives.
In our poverty alleviation efforts, we discovered that rural women and their children face the highest level of depravity. Hence, we centered our focus on empowering these vulnerable women by developing the commercially valuable product, Shea Butter, which is abundant in their areas. By utilizing rural poor women as a springboard, we aim to uplift their lives and make a significant impact on poverty eradication.
Our women have undergone group training, enabling them to work cohesively and complement each other’s activities. As demand for Shea nuts and butter rises, they operate as a team, showcasing unprecedented morale, poise, and diligence. With a wide presence across Nigeria and aspirations to expand internationally, they can meet substantial demands with efficiency. Presently, they produce 30 tons of high-quality Shea butter monthly.
